The Olde Charlestowne Sertoma Club

Since 1977 the Olde Charlestowne Sertoma Club has been an excellent community service organization raising funds to support community charities.  Over the years we have supported the local community by giving our time for such projects as Habitat for Hunanity, the Children's Hospital, Camp Sertoma SC for youth with speech and hearing difficulties, and has been the recipient of many local awards and recognitons for our work in the Charleston Area.

Our local sponsors include, Publix Super Markets and the Publix Super Markets Charities Foundation, the PEPSI Corporation, Sertoma Inc., WEZL Radio, Sticky Fingers and the Kansas City BBQ Society.

AnyButt Contest Friday Night: Gates Open at 6:00 PM and sampling begins at 7:00 PM. Cooking teams will prepare appetizers, entree’s and desserts and the public will be able to get samples of each for a dollar and cast their vote for their favorite in each category. Prize money will be awarded to the teams on Saturday afternoon. Entertainment will be provided by the Mason Dixon Band.

Saturday: Gates open at 11:00 AM with the Corporate Area and Sampling beginning at Noon. As a corporate sponsor you will receive a BBQ buffet and free beer, wine and soft drinks. If you choose to participate in the sampling from the teams you will need to purchase sampling tickets. Garland Jack Secret Six Sauce will be holding a special People’s Choice Challenge and you are encouraged to take part. Entertainment will be provided by Diesel Brothers and awards will be presented around 4:00 PM.

All proceeds go to charity including Camp Sertoma, Charleston Animal Society and the Charleston Miracle League.
